Spill Response Unit
Emerald Transportation has the equipment and training to handle your fuel spill containment due to an accident or mechanical problems. Our spill response unit carries four separate fuel pump systems that will safely transfer diesel fuel or gasoline from a ruptured tank to our containment drums. Our pumps operate on air compressed power or electrical, depending on the product to transfer. Additional Equipment Available for accident and spill clean-up: 2001 Cargo King 16’ Enclosed Trailer: Fuel pump system, containment drums, spill kits, absorbent, brooms, shovels, generators, air compressor. 2002 Komatsu Model WA-180-3MC All –Wheel Drive Front End Loader. 3 yard bucket, forks, quick release attached. 2007 Komatsu Model SK-820 Skid Steer Loader. Quick release bucket, grappler bucket, power broom attachments. Two 20 yard roll-off containers for transporting extra sand to site or wreckage debris from scene. 200 (50) lb bags of absorbent sand stacked on four pallets in dry storage ready to transport to any accident scene.
